The word Hemisferio (Spanish) means Hemisphere in English.
1: one of the halves of the earth as divided by the equator or by a meridian.
2: a half of a sphere.
3: either the left or the right half of the cerebrum.
Hemisferio means “hemisphere”, Felipe came up with this idea from the right hemisphere of the brain where creativity comes. But later realize that the left hemisphere of the brain also has played a big role in his career so he decided to just called it Hemisferio Films.
We are in both hemisphere of the world, north and south. With offices located in Argentina and the US, we offer different production services tailored to our clients’ requirements.
We are always told that everything has two sides, two hemispheres. When putting this to life, in Hemisferio Films we believe there is only one side, one hemisphere: we are all one. With a central hub in Argentina and offices in the US joined together to co-create, co-produce and co-finance the audiovisual contents for a global audience.

Felipe Martinez Carbonell is a young award-winning Argentine filmmaker, who has resided in Los Angeles since 2014. He studied Audiovisual Production at EPCTV (Rosario Provincial Film and TV School) and obtained a Graduate Certificate in Film Production at UCLA (University of California, Los Angeles). Since 2012 he has directed the Hemisferio Films team.
