We were hired by Defiant Pictures to be the EPK Producer, Still Photographer, Graphic Designer and Motion Graphic Designer for the film “The Amityville Murders: A Haunting on Long Island” directed by Daniel Farrands and starring John Robinson, Chelsea Ricketts and Paul Ben-Victor.
Using the actors of the film, we re-created the DeFeo family portraits for print to meet the defined style requirements. We created and designed the visual effects for some specific scenes within the film.
We created and designed different versions of the movie poster (pictured above) which were selected by production companies for the distribution of the film in foreign territories.
Also, we designed and animated the motion graphics for two different versions of the credits used in the movie.
Our team produced the behind the scenes and cast interviews for the film including color grading and sound mixing. We captured and edited 500+ high resolution photos of the actors during production for distribution purposes. All of this content was used for Social Media marketing.
For the end sequence of the film, we created and edited a montage using real photos and newspaper headlines of the Amityville Murder mixed with shots from the film.
